as Producer
Music Production
I have worked as a producer and mixing engineer on eight EPs and full-length releases, as well as over thirty singles by various artists. My creative and nuanced production style aims to transmute every artists music into work of art, rather than merely creating a record of a song. I work in several genres, including Indie, Punk, Experimental, Singer/Songwriter, Lo-fi, and Dreampop.
Please feel free to reach out with any production or recording inquiries.
My Process
My production process includes working with artists to craft arrangements, refining lyrics and vocal performances, overdubbing and part-writing, and writing in-studio. Once the form of the work has been determined, I delve into an early mix so that we can understand the “color landscape” of the recorded work as a whole. This early mix will organically communicate what it needs in terms of mixing and additional recording and reveal what the next steps are.
Once any additional overdubbing has taken place, I like to present the artist with two mix drafts–the first of which I craft to come as close as possible to the artist’s vision. After receiving feedback and scrutinizing the work, I like to put the work through what I call “1,000 touches.” This nuanced process involves listening to the work and its components on a micro-level, then deep-cleaning, penciling in nuanced automation, nudging EQs, and taking sonic risks. During this draft I aim to exceed both my own and the artists expectations.
I see it as quite a serious honor when an artist comes to me with their work. I do my best to leave them feeling like I have invested some of my own life and love into their project.

KIDOKORO RECORDS
In 2020, I started my label KIDOKORO RECORDS as a way to work closely with artistically ambitious independent artists and, together, assemble a cohesive body of work. This label has allowed me to encourage and “touch” the work of many songwriters and bands I adore and respect.
